We are delighted to announce the recipients of the 2024 ANZEF Grant Round! This year’s initiative will allocate AUD$228,915 in crucial grant funding to these six significant projects, advancing eye health equity and access in Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region:
These projects were selected from 34 submitted applications totalling $1.54 million in funding requests and representing diverse locations and organisations; an indication of just how many passionate and driven people are dedicated to bettering the future of eye health equity and access for our region.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to this initiative, with a special acknowledgement to the ANZEF Program Selection and Grants Sub-Committee for their dedicated efforts and many hours spent reviewing applications. We extend our deep appreciation to all applicants, and celebrate and congratulate the recipients.
The success of these grants is a direct result of the remarkable generosity of Fellows and donors. The Foundation is enormously grateful for your ongoing support, which has enabled us to establish this grant round as an annual opportunity.
ANZEF looks forward to supporting the journeys of these worthy projects and keeping the community updated on their progress and impact.
