RANZCO Learning Delivery Manager Tessa Hayward, who embodies team spirit and community fundraising, gathered a team to participate in this year’s Sydney City2Surf, to raise awareness and funds for ANZEF.
The ANZEF Runners, comprising Tessa, Emma van Niekerk, Ellen Cooper and Pip Lyndon-James from RANZCO’s Education Team, and RANZCO CEO Mark Carmichael, put their all into the 14-kilometre run on 11 August, starting from Hyde Park in the city and through the city streets before working their way up the famously grueling Heartbreak Hill in the Eastern Suburbs and ending at beautiful Bondi Beach.
The team raised an impressive $1,700 to support ANZEF initiatives—a promising start to what we hope will become a yearly RANZCO tradition.
Tessa commented, “Next year there seem to be more staff who want to be part of it and I think it will be incredibly fun altogether. We have such an amazing workplace!”. The ANZEF team thinks so, too!
Thank you for your amazing support, Tessa and the 2024 team!
