ANZEF is offering scholarships of up to $1,600 AUD to attend the 2023 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Eye Health Conference (NATSIEHC23)!

Who can apply?

These scholarships are open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander doctors and medical students interested in eye health and to RANZCO Vocational Training Program (VTP) trainees interested in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander eye health.

Details

Each scholarship will cover or contribute towards the cost of registration, travel to and from the NATSIEH Conference in Parramatta, and hotel accommodation for the duration of the Conference. For Sydney-based successful applicants, the scholarship will cover the cost of conference registration only.

The Conference will be held at Novotel Sydney Parramatta, Dharug Country, NSW, from 24-26 May, focusing on Our Vision in Our Hands: Finding Our Voice.

The Conference aims to advance the collective work of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander eye health sector towards the shared goal of improving eye health access and outcomes of First Nations Australians.

The 2023 Conference is led by the National Experts Group on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Eye Health (NEGATSIEH), which contributes to the Conference Leadership Group, supported by the Indigenous Eye Health Unit (IEHU) at The University of Melbourne. The Aboriginal Health and Medical Research Council of NSW (AH&MRC) will co-host the event.

How do I apply?
